I have just touched down from 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗮, and I’m returning with a heart full of inspiration and a mind buzzing with new ideas!

The 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 were spent at the Girls Go STEM 𝗔𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, an incredible initiative promoted by EIT - European Institute of Innovation and Technology. This gathering brought together 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 for a deep dive into collaboration, but the true highlight for me wasn't just the agenda—it was the 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

Getting to know these 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 over the past 48 hours was absolutely 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴. I was struck by their remarkable 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, the depth of their 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲, and a sense of 𝗷𝗼𝘆 that is truly contagious. Seeing the future of 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 through their eyes gives me immense confidence in what lies ahead.
As 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀, we often think our job is to lead the way, but these students proved that our real role is simply to 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘀—their talent is already shining bright enough to light the path.
I’m leaving this meeting more committed than ever to fostering 𝗳𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 in science and technology.
A huge thank you to 𝗘𝗜𝗧, the 𝗚𝗚𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺, and every ambassador who made these last two days in Barcelona unforgettable.
